More than 16 years ago, Amy Abbott moved to Los Cabo from Seattle, WA. Warm and laid-back with an epic sense of humor and a creative sensibility, Amy is a powerhouse that exceeds client expectations at every turn.

As the owner of the premier wedding & event planning design team in Los Cabos, Amy has many years of experience. “Throughout the years I’ve assembled a team who understand the importance of complete discretion - especially with our high-profile clients,” said Amy.

Amy Abbott Events is considered a leader in the wedding and events design and planning market, with noted accolades from D magazine, Luxury Retreats, Bridal Guide, Style Me Pretty, Carats and Cake, Martha Stewart, Blush Magazine and Us Weekly. “We work hard to create event experiences that evoke emotion, ignite the senses and most importantly exhibit the personalities of the bride and groom,” said Amy.

Bilingual, energetic, confident and highly organized, Amy orchestrates events smoothly, from start to finish.

When she’s not planning events, Amy is actively engaged in the local community, helping to raise more than $5 million for area-orphanage Casa Hogar in the last ten years. “Los Cabos is an amazing community that gives back to its people and I am blessed to be part of it,” said Amy.

Enticed by Cabo’s natural beauty and eternal sunshine, Lauren left a successful career in L.A. fashion and TV to embark on a new chapter in Los Cabos. Shortly after arriving, she found herself planning her own Cabo wedding with Amy Abbott. That magical day and experience ignited her love for event planning.

Since then, Lauren has built a reputation as a sophisticated and ultra-dependable and creative event planner and designer.

“Drawing design inspiration from all over the world, I love to wow clients with incredible celebrations that leave a lasting impression,” said Lauren.

Attentive, organized, energetic and resourceful, Lauren is a favorite among clients.

Lynette

Get to know Lynette

Originally from Nashville, Lynette is dedicated to clear communication with clients from the beginning. “It’s my goal to ensure that the client is always heard and feels comfortable with the event plan,” said Lynette.

Known for her organization throughout the entire event process, Lynette shines with the details and day-of execution. “I ensure that all details and vendors are working together as one on that important day.”

When she’s not event planning, Lynette loves to spend time with her two children and husband. She also enjoys whipping up comfort food and taking advantage of the incredible Cabo beaches with her friends and family.

Pamela

Pamela comes to Amy Abbott Events after serving for 8 years at the Five Diamond Resort, Las Ventanas al Paraiso. While there, Pamela created exceptional event experiences.

“Working with clients at Las Ventanas prepared me for my role with Amy Abbott Events,” says Pamela. “I love being able to take the vision of a client and creatively translate that into reality.”

Pamela was raised in Sinaloa, MX and has been a Cabo resident for nearly a decade. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Pamela is known for her keen attention to detail and her phenomenal negotiation skills. With Pamela, clients can expect precision and creativity.

Martha

Martha comes to Amy Abbott Events after years of serving as the Events Director at Cabo Surf Hotel & Resort. While there Martha created countless oceanfront events that were unique and representative of each individual couple.

“My passion is creating for each client exactly what they’re envisioning,” says Martha.

Bilingual in Spanish and English, Martha is exceedingly calm under pressure. She understands the importance of communication when planning a destination wedding and clients find her a joy to work with. She’s keenly aware of budgeting and is excellent at providing an experience that is inspired and precisely what the client wants.

Born and raised in Mexico City, Ximena has been a Cabo resident for the past 7 years. With experience in the luxury travel industry, Ximena has worked with top brands like the Four Seasons and Rosewood. Known for her energetic demeanor and attention to detail, one of Ximena’s most prominent strengths is her ability to connect with clients.

“Communication is key when planning a destination wedding,” says Ximena. “My goal is to keep clients relaxed throughout every step of the process. Throughout the planning process Ximena’s mission remains resolute: create a memory that is filled with happiness and joy for the client.

Gaby

A passionate lover of life and all its details.

Originally from Mexico City, Gaby moved to Los Cabos bringing with her a marketing degree and an unsurpassed level of efficiency and enthusiasm. Throughout her career, Gaby has professionally collaborated with some of the most exclusive resorts in Los Cabos and now combines her experience and impeccable skill set to create some of our most spell-binding events.

As an avid art lover and eternal romantic, Gaby has the ability to see each event as a blank canvas. She employs unique creativity to each event, with the ultimate goal of doing a true reflection of each couple.

Claudia

Claudia built her wedding career in the luxury hotel industry, she always knew she had a creative spirit with her big dreams and a strong drive to create beautiful things.

As the Director of Romance at Las Ventanas al Paraiso, her passion for hospitality, collaboration, and teamwork lead to creating amazing weddings and events. Claudia, understand her clientele's needs, culture, and vision and brings it all to life like pure magic. She loves bringing people together to celebrate life's most important moments in the most beautiful places, making sure it’s as stress-free as possible and full of a lifetime of memories.

Originally from San Diego, Karen relocated to Los Cabos in 1990 with a comprehensive plan to create, plan and execute events and weddings.

As the Event Manager for The Palmilla Hotel (now the One and Only Resort), Karen learned that a stylish event begins long before the guests arrive – it begins with masterful planning. After years of successfully creating memorable weddings and events, Karen has joined the Amy Abbott Events family where she can continue her skills as a consummate professional with an acute attention to detail.

Having lived more than half of her life in Mexico, she has honed her experience in planning, executing and negotiating all aspects of weddings and events and established valuable relationships with trusted vendors and venues to insure success and bringing ‘visions’ to life. Karen skillfully works with multiple vendors, handling stressful situations and finding creative solutions, one of her many strengths.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is not only an added advantage in creating, coordinating and overseeing the execution of a smooth and seamless organized event – but a necessity.

Paola

As event planners can attest, it’s the people behind the scenes who really help pull off a sensational event experience. Paola, originally from Mazatlan, fits this description to a tee.

Payis is currently studying Business Administration. She brings energy and incredible attention detail to our team. Fully bilingual, she is a problem solver and works at a pretty fast clip.

When she’s not working, Paola loves spending time with her family and experiencing art.

Cecilia

Get to know Cecilia

While Cecilia is solely responsible for Public Relations and communications for Amy Abbott Events, she really is so much more. Originally from Argentina, Cecilia’s work began in the field of journalism in Argentina where she focused on fashion and also contributed to weekly magazines and a popular TV show. From there, she segued into public relations, realizing it was her passion.

Today, Cecilia is well known and connected internationally. Her public relations and social media prowess are appreciated by Amy Abbott Events, as she is committed to propelling the brand forward. “It’s a pleasure to align with Amy,” says Cecilia. “The events that her team produces are stunning masterpieces that when shared, inspire, ignite and beget emotion.”
