Today we celebrate the beautiful June wedding at Flora Farms of Taylor and Cody Ayers. The bride and groom, along with their nearest and dearest stayed at The Fiesta Americana Grand in Cabo San Lucas. (Here’s another recent Flora Farms wedding that we did)
A June Wedding At Flora Farms
I LOVE to do June weddings. While still warm during the day, from the mid-80s to 90s, the weather cools down in the evening. Therefore, it set’s the scene for an idyllic Cabo wedding because of the beautiful, sunny days but comfortable evenings.
Planning The Wedding
Taylor and I made initial contact in June 2017 and collaborated together for a year to create their magical day. Taylor came to Cabo in 2014 and she visited Flora Farms. From that moment, she had a dream to get married there. As we know now, dreams do come true.
Welcome Cocktails at Fiesta Americana Grand
Taylor, Cody and their guests decided to stay at the Fiesta Americana Grand Hotel. A welcome cocktail on an oceanfront lawn area which is part of the hotel kicked off their stay. That was the perfect way to start this weekend full of celebrations.
Taylor’s color palette for the wedding was with whites and creams, greenery with a touch of mauve and gold. Working with Taylor was easy because she knew from the beginning all the special details that she really wanted in her wedding day.
Pina Cate was the florist in charge of making Taylors vision for her June wedding at Flora Farms come to life. The ceremony was a fairytale dream with beautiful seating areas adorned with flowers and greenery. And the aisle with flowers was absolutely breathtaking. It was a truly magical setting.
Table Decor At Flora Farms
For the table décor, we added touches of gold and mauve, taper candles, and macrame runners that Taylor adored. Those were her exact words 🙂. Also, to finalize the key touches on the tables, we had acrylic menus with gold over them and the bar sign was a really cute touch. We even had to wear gloves in order to keep the transparent acrylic perfect!
We made sure that everything was perfect and we had no finger stains on the acrylic menus. The June wedding at Flora Farms was much fun!
She also had hexagonal-shaped white marble stones with the guest’s names hand painted in gold. This is something that Taylor ordered especially from a friend so that she can lead her guests to their beautiful tables. The ‘Hola’ welcome bags were left in the guest rooms to greet them as they arrived, with a map, itinerary, and Mexican handmade tassels.
For entertainment for the June wedding at Flora Farms, we used the amazing violinist Karina, and Los Nacionales Mexican trio to give that fun Mexican touch.
Small & Intimate Wedding
The wedding was for 34 guests, making it was very small and intimate with a lot of details. It was so wonderful to be a part of this June wedding, and I loved everything about it, from the delicious cocktails and dinner to the stunning menus and table decor. Every perfect detail was in place for Taylor’s and Cody’s dream June wedding at Flora Farms.
I loved that this was a June wedding, that it was at Flora Farms, and that it had all these intricate details. It was truly a magical, fairytale day. It’s just so fulfilling to know that we can create somebody’s dream and that our beautiful bride Taylor was so happy. That is the best thing that I could ever experience, and that is one of the reasons that I love my job.
