My Favorite Recent Cabo Wedding Weekend

Adam & Amanda, Cabo Wedding At Flora Farms

Adam and Amanda had their hearts set on a Cabo wedding and incorporating their favorite places and activities including cruising on the Tropicat, Esperanza and Flora Farms. Amanda had been coming to Cabo for years with her family. When she and Adam started talking about the logistics of their destination wedding, Cabo was the obvious choice.

The Creation Of The Wedding

It was very important that their guests fall in love with the Baja just as they had. Amanda had a clear vision from the start in regards to color palate and design: mixing gold, ivory, shades of pink and different textures of greenery for an ultra lush and elegant wedding with just the right touch of tropical. She wore a Jenny Packham bridal gown which was stunning against the backdrop of Flora Farms.

Personal Touches

Amanda chose each detail with thought and purpose. Locally made Santo Cabo avocado soap included in the bridal party gift bags. Vintage designer Mexican silver cufflinks were chosen as the gift for the groom. The groom’s focus was on his love for music. They selected a string trio for the ceremony with Daryl Currie and Cabo Strings followed by a 3 piece band: The Currents for cocktail & dinner. Finally, DJ Alex of Cabo Events brought down the house during the reception.

It was an honor for Amy Abbott Events to have been a part of making Adam and Amanda’s wedding day come to life. Sometimes your clients learn from you and sometimes you learn from your clients. I especially learned a lot during the planning process with Adam and Amanda. This planning experience has made me stronger both professionally and personally.
